HEY! That's not Wolf Blitzer!
Actor/author/director/satirist/musician/radio host Harry Shearer's
found footage of the CNN team prepping for the Florida Republican Debate using civilians as stand-ins for the candidates might be the best thing to happen to the GOP Debate since
Michele Bachmann took the longest pee break ever.
Newt Gingrich is looking decidedly more feminine since the last time we saw him. When the petite redheaded woman introduces herself as "Newt Gingrich" and proclaims "I just ran a marathon before I got here," Fake Wolf Blitzer chuckles and her fellow faux candidates smile.
Could they possibly find her more charming than the real thing?

Hey GOP Candidates, relax a little! Slip into something more comfortable! Let your hair down!

That's more like it. Now how about we whistle the National Anthem?

Ah, September. You went by so fast. How can it be the end of you already? We're still debating whether or not it's okay to wear white and now you want us to start thinking about Halloween costumes? Sigh.
In honor of the end of September and
a certain song by Green Day that has been stuck in our heads all day, we present images of My Damn Channel stars sleeping so that we can tell them to
"WAKE UP!" just like the song asks us to.

Wake up, Daily Grace! It's the end of September!

Wake up, Kristen Schaal! It's the end of September!

Wake up, Gigi! It's the end of September!
So we hope you're awake now."Waking you up when September ends" was kind of a weird request, right? Pretty arbitrary. We mean, if you're going to hibernate, why not just wake up in March? Whatever. We're your friends so we'll play alarm clock for you but just this once. Unless you pay us or something. Then we'd probably do it more.

CNN just featured Harry Shearer's "Found Objects".
Jeanne Moos reported on the gum chewing of various public figures - caught on camera. Her
piece includes Harry Shearer's My Damn Channel series, "Found Objects," with a
clip of Ann Coulter chomping on her Nicoret.
Harry's art installation
"The Silent Echo Chamber" is a compilation of these "Found Objects," on
tour now across the country. The installation is currently at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center through November.
Harry's
brand new, digital album is Greed and Fear, documenting the economic meltdown
in music and comedy. The first digital singles have just been released: Get them here. And look for brand new videos from Greed and Fear in the coming weeks
premiering on Harry's channel.

Halloween marked the season 2 finale of YOU SUCK AT PHOTOSHOP.
Over 400,000 views so far - close to 1000 comments webwide debating the appearance of Dane Cook, whether Donnie is Dane, if both are dead, what David Cross has to do with the whole thing, and if YSAP is really gone (again?).
Feels like months since 10/31: we elected OBAMA - the economy turned the clocks back to 1933 - and Jetsons' flying cars still seem another thousand years away.
Fear not: the creators of YSAP open up a new chapter in the wonderful "WORLD of WEBNDER"
Adobe presents a BIG FAT BRAIN film
starring Troy Hitch & Matt Bledsoe

Judith just played two, sold-out shows at NY's Metropolitan Room. I've lost count of the number of friends I've turned onto this amazing angel.
She's touring all month. Check concert dates, see & hear more music, & get Judith's new album, Mopping Up Karma at www.JudithOwen.net
Here's one of the videos we filmed to launch the album in LA: "Let's Hear It For Love."

Rotten TV on 9/17/2008 6:01:49 AM by Rob Barnett

Tom Waits. Lesser world without him.
Click on his head and enjoy a music video you'd never see on the MTV. In the last century, we were shooting the pilot for ROTTEN TV. One of the early ideas was to get Johnny Rotten to 'review' music videos for his new teleee-vision show. We debated war strategies late one night and stumbled onto the idea that everyone would expect John to HATE every video. Too simple. John decided it was a good idea to actually LIKE at least ONE music video. Tom Waits was the winner.

Just back east coast & off the plane from our LA & San Diego shoots for My Damn Channel Music Nights presented by SoCo.
Yesterday was the all-day & til-Midnight SoCo Music Experience concert outdoors in San Diego.
(PHOTOS TO FOLLOW as soon as i get a lil schleepeee)
Props, respect & all terms of goodness to our sponsors, our hosts, the production team, our crew, our staff, all the musicians & the extra beautiful & fun-loving humans that made up a crowd that had to hit near 10,000 or more by the time we got to the headliners last night.
The SoCo Music Experience is touring the country with a festival that features live music outdoors, adult beverages, food, tents, games, and overall....a sexy good time.
Common headlined an impressive, eclectic line-up that went from hip hop to rock with The Black Keys, and then to uncategorizable, extremely funky, multi-flavored sets from Kinky and Saul Williams too. Slammin'.
Two stages all day - also featuring: Grand Ole Party, MC Flow, Shark Attack, The Silent Comedy, Buddy Akai, The Burning of Rome, & Lady Dottie and the Diamonds.
Grace was interviewing bands & the fans all day & all night, covering the scene.
Maria was running the My Damn Channel tent where we had way too much fun bonding with da fans - and giving away freebies including the ultra-rare YOU SUCK AT PHOTOSHOP tee-shirts, new My Damn Channel pins, and My Damn Channel TATTOOS.
We filmed all day for a new pilot series in development. The working title is: "LISTEN, KISS, MEDITATE." In a world with WAY too much noize - we're creating a new web series WITHOUT SOUND. Picture people from every walk o' life - doing three things that bring you one step further away from the madness & one step closer to SOUL. We filmed fans listening to music, kissing (passionately), and meditating. It's off the edit room to see if we're onto something great......or not.
Next SoCo Music Experience event....Madison, WI on 9/6 & we'll be at the Experience show in Albany, NY on 9/13!

Fresh off last night's Obama and Hillary heavyweight bout another My Damn Channel Silent Debate. In a selfless act of journalistic fairness, Harry Shearer steps aside to let Brit Hume from Fox moderate...and have a little lunch:
