Today, Google made a major announcement setting the stage for new programming on YouTube. We're honored that My Damn Channel is working to create a new YouTube original channel as part of this initiative.
We launched www.MyDamnChannel.com back in 2007 - dedicated to giving the most talented people in entertainment a studio and distribution platform where they can co-create, produce and showcase the best original video programming. We've made thousands of videos and many of the most watched and awarded comedy series like “Wainy Days,” “You Suck at Photoshop,” “Horrible People,” “Daily Grace” and political satire from the great Harry
Shearer. We've been supported by major advertisers who partner with us to reach engaged, loyal fans online with media
campaigns and branded entertainment that break through the noise.
In addition to running our own site, we've always syndicated to other outlets and YouTube has been a powerful partner since we launched our first channel there in 2007.
In February, 2012, we’re expanding our YouTube relationship to give you MY DAMN CHANNEL LIVE: a hosted, 30-minute, weekly comedy show featuring world premieres of our original videos
and series. We'll bring you stars you love and new talent too.
MY DAMN CHANNEL LIVE will also invade your screens daily with 10-minute, interactive blasts from our host. You'll see our new live show on a dedicated channel on My Damn Channel, on a new
channel on YouTube, and in syndication.
We'll keep you plugged in on the birth of our new baby with fresh updates about all the artists we’re signing and the new series we’re producing from now 'til launch.
I want to give HUGE thanks to everyone who's supported My Damn Channel. A few short years ago, Warren Chao and I
were two crazy fools with a power point presentation and a dream. The fact that one of the most revolutionary companies in the world just tapped us for their new adventure blows us away and we're
counting on all of you to be watching.

"Sandwiches & Shorts" screened the winners of the Subway Fresh Artists Filmmakers Challenge at the IFC Crossroads House at SXSW. Grace was there as hostess with the mostest, Rob made his way around the scene, and the Fresh Artists winners were there in full effect. SXSW was a blast (but we've gotta get back to work now).
Hope you followed us on Tumblr & Twitter!

As you may already know, My Damn
Channel has partnered with the fine folks at Subway and the USC Film School to
debut the winners of the Subway Fresh Artists Featured Filmmakers
challenge.
Unfortunately, Jeff & Ravi Fail History and Do Whatever proved far too
awesome to be contained by the ones and zeros of the internet alone, which is
why we’ve been forced to take the show on the road, to the world famous SXSW Festival in Austin, TX.
My Damn Channel and Subway will be invading the IFC Crossroads House at 7th
& Brazos this Sunday for “Shorts and Sandwiches”, which is pretty much what it sounds like, starting at 5:00
PM C/6:00 PM ET. So stop by and check out the future of cinema. Or, you know,
maybe just grab some free food and laugh your ass off. Either way, be sure keep
up with all the latest SXSW action on Twitter and Tumblr,
and spread the word as you feel appropriate.
Kinda makes you wish you tried a little harder back in school,
huh?

My Damn Channel was born 7/31/07. We were still in diapers when the Webby Awards first starting loving our artists with 7 nods in 2008.
They honored our family 5 more times in 2009. And this year, 8 new acts of love. We suck at math, but that's a lotta Webby lovin'.
The Webby Awards were just announced today.
THANKS to every human who voted - the judges, the fans...and congrats to every creator in webland for the recognition for your work n' fun that goes into forging the new world.
BIG love and respect to all in our family. Here are links to the My Damn Channel honored class of 2010:

Extra special love to Illeana Douglas and the "Easy To Assemble" team for her nomination for Best Individual Performance...and to David Wain and Amanda Peet and the whole Wainy Days fam for their nomination for Best Individual Episode for "Jill."
New "Wainy Days" and New "Easy To Assemble" episodes are in the works now.
Next week, My Damn Channel turns six months old. I'm still awake in the middle of every night feeding two more babies...our twins just passed three months.
THE NIGHT FEED blog was born on the night of the writers' strike to add more interaction with the humans behind My Damn Channel. We're about to add a slew of interactive features to all of the channels in two weeks. We're continuing to build this machine to last.
We dreamed up the business to get free of as much old thinking as possible about how media is supposed to behave. My Damn Channel has patron saints like John Lydon, still young enough to get in the ring with anyone - still too honest to put up with even a hint of corporate crap.
The artists and producers of our 5 channels and everyone who works to put our original videos out every day have touched over 5 million people in the past 5 months.
Mark Wednesday, February 6th as the date to check the channels and the blog. The new look will debut. Then the following week of Feb 11 -- 3 new channels join the line-up.
