On June 24, 2009, Iranian Superstar Andy Madadian went into an LA recording studio with Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and American record producers Don Was and John Shanks to record a musical message of worldwide solidarity with the people of Iran.

This version of the old Ben E. King classic is not for sale - it was not meant to be on the Billboard charts or even manufactured as a CD.....it's intended to be downloaded and shared by the Iranian people...to give voice to the sentiment that all people of the world stand together....the handwritten Farsi sign in the video translates to "we are one".

I am glad one of the Iran's genius Rock legends whose music was banned in his country just for the crime of singing freely got to do a project with legends like you guys.  Best of luck to all the musicians and people involved with this beautiful project.  We the youth of Iran will make sure you guys would play in the Azadi stadium of Tehran with 100, 000 people capacity in THIS lifetime.  We promise!

    I don't know anyone nor anyone who knows anyone in Iran, other than the fact that they are moslems, and thus, are my brothers and sisters. Islam is about freedom, and therefore, Iranians, too, should be as free as I am. <3
