Cookin’ With Coolio
Episode 9: Stir-Fried Vegetables
Ingredients:
- One Large Red Bell Pepper
(Not Tomatoes)
- One Large Green Bell Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Minced Garlic
- A Medium Sized Bowl of Broccoli
- One Medium Zucchini
- One Medium Size Onion
- A Medium Sized Bowl of String
Beans
- A Dime-Bag of Sea salt
- Black Pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Your fire has got to be
hot so that you get an even cookin' temperature all up in your wok. Just
set it to high, baby!
2. Pour in a half cup of olive
oil to lubricate your sizzling wok.
3. Spoon in a heaping teaspoon
of garlic. Shaka!
4. Dump in a medium size, finely
chopped onion. Zulu!
5. While you let it saute for
a minute, do a little dancin' and show your green bell pepper who the
kitchen pimp is. After that, chop it up and toss it in.
6. Toss in your chopped up red
bell pepper.
7. Now, it's better to use
a wooden spoon to agitate your stir-fry, but if you don't have one, then
use a plastic spoon!
8. Take that medium sized zucchini
and chop it up nice and thin. Toss it in.
9. Follow that up with a bowl
of green-ass broccolah. Broccolah. Broccolah.
10. Drop in your bowl of string
beans.
11. Crack yourself a beer and
stir it up again with your plastic spoon!
12. Salt and pepper to taste.
Then taste. But do NOT use your knife as a fork unless you're a kitchen
pimp like Coolio.
13. Get that stir-fry moving
one last time with your plastic spoon! Once the onions are translucent
and your zucchini is al dente, you know your shit is done.
14. Bring your ass to the shaka-zulu
table! It's time to eat some healthy-ass stir-fried vegetables.
